AAUW is a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance. Your membership makes AAUW’s powerful voice even stronger on critical issues affecting women and girls.

AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class. Yes men are welcome to join AAUW.

Because AAUW is a 501(c)(3) charitable membership organization, most of members’ national dues are tax deductible on their personal federal income tax returns.

Eligibility. Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent (RN), baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.   Normal renewals have previously been for the fiscal year  July 1  to June 30th.  Now the membership year will be one calendar year from the date you initially join.

If joining through the national website, be sure to add an affiliation for the branch membership- Northern Palm Beach County, and state of Florida.    Otherwise, contact our membership vice president for new branch membership as we do offer discounts at certain times only at branch events.

Student Affiliation is open to anyone who does not already hold an undergraduate degree and is enrolled in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution.

Renew your membership

Current  branch members are asked to renew their yearly membership via the national website ( www.aauw.org) .  If our branch is an additional affiliation, please be sure to include us when you renew your national membership with the primary branch.  If you have difficulty with the website, you may send the renewal fee, currently $99 for national, state and branch,  to our Director of Finance for processing.  National may send our renewal reminders.   Contact Us,

Student memberships

More than 800 AAUW college/university members can be found in the Public: College & University Directory List.  Students enrolled at one of our C/U members are eligible for free e-memberships,

Students are also encouraged to join our branch as a student affiliate. Contact our membership vice president for more information.
