AAUW is a community that breaks through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance. Your membership makes AAUW’s powerful voice even stronger on critical issues affecting women and girls.
AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
Because AAUW is a 501(c)(3) charitable membership organization, most of members’ national dues are tax deductible on their personal federal income tax returns.
Eligibility. Membership is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent (RN), baccalaureate or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university. The membership year runs from July 1 through June 30 of the following year.
If joining through the national website, be sure to select branch membership. Otherwise, contact our membership vice president for branch membership as we do offer discounts at certain times only at branch events.
Student Affiliation is open to anyone who does not already hold an undergraduate degree and is enrolled in a two-or four-year regionally accredited educational institution.
